Step into an intimate evening of poetry, emotions, stories, and beautiful conversations as Shayar Community collaborates with Kissa.community to bring a special Poetry Open Mic to Vadodara. Whether you write in Hindi, English, Gujarati, or a mix of languages, this evening is for everyone who believes words can move hearts, start conversations, and create memories. This is not just an open mic. It is a room full of listeners, writers, performers, and strangers who may leave with a story. Event Details Date: 11 July, Saturday Time: 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM City: Vadodara Location: To be decided Entry Fee: ₹120 Seats: Only 20 seats Want to Perform? If you wish to perform, we will share a separate performer form with you. Please note: Only 9 poets/performers will be selected to recite.Selected performers will be informed before the event.Each selected performer will get maximum 5 minutes.Please prepare only one poem/piece.Do not exceed the time limit so every poet gets a fair chance.Poetry can be in Hindi, English, Gujarati, or multilingual.Audience tickets do not guarantee a performance slot.Performance slots are limited and curated. Event Rules To keep the evening respectful, warm, and meaningful, please follow these rules:Respect every poet and performer. Listen mindfully and avoid interrupting.Keep your performance within 5 minutes. One poem or one piece only.No hate speech, abusive content, or personal attacks based on religion, caste, gender, sexuality, politics, or identity.Original writing is preferred. If you are reciting someone else’s work, please give proper credit.Phones on silent mode. Avoid unnecessary noise during performances.Do not record performers without consent. Respect everyone’s comfort and privacy.Kids and pets are not allowed for this event.Reach on time. Late entry may disturb the flow of the session.Be mindful of the room. This is a safe space for expression, vulnerability, and art.The organizer reserves the right to stop any performance that feels disrespectful, unsafe, or inappropriate.
