New Acropolis invites you to our 7th edition of Philo Fair, this time in our vibrant new centre in the heart of Ballard Estate.We will be hosting a wide range of stalls including food, fashion, gifting, art, games, home decor and more - with something for all age groups! Join our all day activities or register for our many workshops in a space that celebrates culture, philosophy, literature, arts and craft. FREE ENTRY! Come by anytime between 11am - 8pm. PRE REGISTER FOR WORKSHOPS THROUGH THE DAY: Exploring Watercolours: Painting Mumbai's Skyline (11am - 12:30pm) - Rs. 1800 Let colours flow as you paint Mumbai’s skyline. Learn simple watercolour techniques like wet-on-wet blending, gradation, and lifting, allowing colours to merge and surprise us! Finish your artwork with simple pen detailings and create your own postcard-sized composition. Healthy Cooking: Make Your Own Dips & Desserts (1:30pm - 2:30pm) - Rs. 1200 Roll up your sleeves and put together fresh, feel-good dishes—from home-style cheese spread to dips, salad and dessert - all nourishing and delicious at the same time. Learn simple combinations and quick preparation techniques that make healthy eating both practical and enjoyable. You’ll prepare and taste your own creations while picking up ideas you can easily recreate. From Pages to Presence: Beginners Book Binding (3:30 - 4:30pm) - Rs. 1200 Discover the joy of handmade books in this beginner-friendly workshop. Learn the basics of bookbinding by exploring two beautiful binding techniques and create your own handcrafted notebook from scratch. Take home your creation along with a kit so you can keep creating and experimenting long after the session. Beauty in the Ordinary: Phone Photography Workshop (12:30 - 1:15pm) - Rs. 400 Start seeing everyday moments differently—through light and framing. Learn practical techniques like composition, angles, and use of natural light to enhance your photos. Put your learning into action by capturing and sharing your own images. Small Spaces, Big Stories: Make Your Own Fairy Garden (5:15pm - 6pm) - Rs. 1200 Build a tiny world of your own—layer by layer, detail by detail. Work with soil, plants, and decorative elements to design a miniature garden. Learn how to arrange components, create balance, and bring together natural and crafted materials into a cohesive, imaginative space that you take home with you. All age groups are welcome! Rhythm of the Soul: Drum Circle (6:45pm - 7:30pm) - Rs. 800 Find your beat and fall into a shared rhythm. Explore basic rhythm patterns and timing as you build sound collectively. Find the rhythm within that stays long after, and experience how individual rhythms come together into one cohesive whole.
