There & Back Again | Edition 14 Presented by Malido Live x Zyto Some nights, music doesn't just fill a room. It takes you somewhere. And brings you right back again. For one night only, Malido's most intimate live music experience brings you Chirag Todi with Gouri, two artists who create magic when their sound collides. Chirag, based in Ahmedabad, is a songwriter and guitarist whose debut album Bangers Only spans pop, jazz, blues, funk, and Hindustani classical. A voting member of the Recording Academy, crowned Best Pop Artist by Indian Music Diaries, and nominated for the MTV EMA Best Indian Act, he has collaborated with the likes of AR Rahman and Clinton Cerejo, and his track "Desire" was named Rolling Stone India's Best Song of 2020. He's accompanied by Gouri, a vocalist and keyboardist from Kerala who has lent her voice and harmonies to some of indie India's most exciting acts, including Run Pussy Run, Prateek Kuhad, Voctronica, Parekh and Singh, Madboy Mink, and The Yellow Diary. She is one half of soul-pop duo "Gouri and Aksha", who have opened for Damien Rice at Sofar Bombay, released an EP, and toured Japan and the US. She has also played festivals like Lollapalooza, NH7 Weekender and many more. Alongside the music, we're pouring something special. In partnership with Zyto Vodka, a Polish-distilled and proudly Indian-owned brand, our bar team has crafted a limited cocktail menu for the evening. Each drink takes its name and spirit from the artists' music, built from the same mood, texture, and feeling the songs give you. One night, one menu, gone when the evening is.
